SPN Recs - thank you

I've only recently discovered Supernatural as a series - it was recced to me by a friend - and I have to confess that I was not immediately grabbed by the characters. The plots and backstories, yes, but Sam in particular took a while to grow on me. Now, though, after a period of intensive watching I am hooked. I think I brainwashed myself :) I have managed to get hold of the first two seasons on Region 1 dvds, and I have the third season on .avi files to tide me over until the dvd set comes out.

Anyhow, the upshot is I have been looking for good [and long] Spn stories to devour, and found your site via my friend's recs of Veronamay's fics.

What can I say except *thank you* from the bottom of my fan-granny heart. I'm about two thirds of my way through the drama/slash category and loving almost every story I've read so far, though there are a few I can't access.

I'm going to friend you, though I don't keep my Insane Journal as up to date as my Live Journal in the same name. Whatever, I will need to keep my new addiction fed by your great recs.

You're right about the quality of writing in SPN fic - it is right up there with the best I've read. Though I don't read many series, currently it's Highlander, Potterverse and now Supernatural, with a slant off to SG1, SGA, and X Files.

As for your possibly broken links- I'd sort of assumed they were locked journals... But here are the three I've found so far.

I'll check out those links and see if I can get them working again. :)

I think SGA has a lot of good quality stories too but for some reason SPN took over my brain a little more.

Oh and HP you're so right, I was into those stories big time and then I found SGA and now SPN...looking for my next fandom but so far SPN seems it..though I'm now going back and reading Due South now that i've seen the series. :)
